MR Rentals> Age & License Validity

Renters must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years (if under 25 years) and must be over 21 years and under 75 years old.Drivers under 25 and over 70 years are subject to the Driver’s Surcharge of CYP3.00 per day. Drivers over 25 years need to be holders of a valid drivers license for a minimum of 12 months.

MR Rentals> Payment

Rental charges are payable in advance by cash (CY Pounds) or credit cards. Personal cheques are not accepted. In the case of a payment in cash a deposit of CYP300 is required.

MR Rentals> Parking & Traffic Fines

Any infringement shall be on the customers account, except for those induced in the General Conditions.

MR Rentals> Fuel

Fuel is not included in the listed prices and must be paid in advance by the renter at the time of rental.
Usually a full tank vehicle is supplied. Fuel is not refundable for any reasons.

MR Rentals> Taxes

The total amount shown in our quotation is inclusive of VAT local taxes.

MR Rentals> Extension of Rental

Should you wish to extend your rental beyond the agreed date of termination, it is important that you inform us in advance and arrange to meet one of our representatives to sign your extension so that the insurance coverage is extended.

MR Rentals> Cars

Reservations are accepted by the car group and not by the car model. Specific car models are subject to availability at the time of pick-up. If at the time of vehicle pick-up you wish to rent a larger car or rent for a longer period than you have booked, you may do so providing vehicles are available and on payment of additional charges directly to MR Rentals.

MR Rentals> Services

Our customers will find at their disposal baby/children seats and roof racks which must be requested in advance. The first baby/child seat is offered free of charge. For extra baby/children seats and roof racks, there is a charge of CY £1.50 per rented item per day. The hirer will be liable for the good keeping and use of the accessories, including the keys and papers' folder. Otherwise, the customer could be charged a fine in order to meet the value of the lost/damage accessory and the subsequent losses caused to MR Rentals.

MR Rentals> Additional Driver

The first additional driver is offered free. A charge of CY £1.50 per day will be applied for each additional driver. Unauthorized drivers will be responsible for any damages caused either to the vehicle and/or passengers and/or third party vehicles and/or property.

MR Rentals> Reservations

In order to provide you and all of our customers better service, please inform us of the time and your flight details. This is very important as we can track down your delivery / drop off possible changes due to flight delays. In the case that we are not informed of your arrival flight details, we will maintain your booking for a maximum of 120 minutes after the delivery time specified in the booking note. Once this deadline is expired, the booking will be cancelled and therefore we will reserve the right to make use of the vehicle to satisfy other customers needs.

MR Rentals> Collection-Delivery

A delivery/collection service is available anywhere in Cyprus, on a request basis. Delivery/Collection Service to/from hotels is free of charge.Normally there is no charge to any of the major cities either. An additional charge may apply for some locations outside the city limits. On return of the vehicle at the end of the period, in cases where the Renter is not present at the inspection of the vehicle, for reasons that are attributable to the renter or the vehicle is returned outside the opening hours of the branch, or in a place not previously authorized by us, where the vehicle is found to be damaged, the customer accepts the valuation of the resulting damage by an inspection carried out by our personnel in the customer's absence.

MR Rentals> Airport Charges

For pick ups at airports a charge of £7 will be applied for all rentals between 23:30-06:30.

MR Rentals> Rates

Rates are inclusive of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection Waiver (TPW), Fire Protection Waiver (FPW) and VAT local Tax. CDW relieves the renter of legal and financial responsibility for loss or damage to the MR Rentals vehicle and its parts or accessories except by or followed by attempted vandalism over and above the first £300 for car groups MCMN, MCMR, MCAR, ECMN, ECMR, ECAR, CCMN, CCMR, CCAR, ICMN, ICMR, ICAR, IFMN, SCMN, SCMR, SCAR, £500 for car groups SWMR, SWAR, FCMN, FCMR, FCAR, £700 for car groups FFMR, FFAR, STMR, STAR, MVMR, MVAR, PCMR. CDW does not cover damages for the tyres, windscreen and oil sump of the vehicle. Liability to the above parts of the vehicle can be waived by accepting the Additional Damage Waiver (ADW).

MR Rentals> ADW [Additional Damage Waiver]

Wheels and car tires, windscreen and oil sump are covered by ADW which can be purchased at the cost of £2.00 daily.

MR Rentals> Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

- One of the most important things to consider when taking out insurance is personal cover for yourself. Personal Accident Insurance is a service, which has been designed to meet this need.
- The cover and benefits provided by this option are outlined below, but please note that they are subject to the provisions, limitations and exceptions of the Personal Insurance policy, arranged by MR Rentals.
- The policy gives cover for loss of life of the MR Rentals vehicle's authorized driver caused directly by an accident whilst driving the MR Rentals Vehicle up to CYP10.000.
- You will also be covered for expenses of up to CYP250 per rented vehicle, for medical treatment as a result of injuries sustained directly from an accident in which the MR Rentals vehicle is involved.
